Can I pick my game number?

When you get given your lottery number, it’s yours and it is unique, and it’ll stay with you for as long as you’re a member in the The Brighton & Hove Community Lottery. It will be played in the draw every week that you have credit available in your account.

How do I get my game number or numbers?

Soon after you have joined, your game number(s) will be emailed to you in your welcome email, it’s 6-digits long and the number you’ll play the game with. You’ll also have a membership number in the lottery, which you may be asked to quote when contacting us.

Why is the price £4.34 per month when paying by Direct Debit?

The monthly cost breakdown of £4.34 for playing the lottery is based on paying £1 per week over a 52 week year. Direct debits are only collected once monthly. Sometimes there will be five weeks in a month and the additional £0.34 is to build up credit to cover the fifth week on the five-week months.

Can I choose when to play my credit?

This game is a subscription lottery. You choose how many numbers you want each week, usually one, two or three but could be up to twenty, and that number of entries gets entered into the draw every week automatically. The benefit is that your number never misses a week, as long as you’ve got funds in your account to play.

What's the jackpot?

There is a £25,000 top prize up for grabs every week, as well as smaller prizes of £1,000, £25 and 5 entries into the next draw.

What happens if I win?

If you’ll win, we’ll be in touch with you, so you don’t need to worry about missing out. You don’t need to claim your prize or withdraw it from your lottery account. Depending on how you pay for your lottery entries, we might put the money straight into your bank account or we may send out a cheque. Couldn’t be simpler!

Why is there a minimum payment amount of £13 on cards?

To reduce processing costs and keep the overall running costs low, for the benefit of our charities, we have a minimum payment cap. This guarantees more lottery profit for charity.
